Saturday Mfg. is a full-service advertising and design firm offering marketing strategy and creative executions.
We were formed over flapjacks in 2009, when two writers and a designer broke out from the big agency world to build a creative-first shop. We work out of what used to be the body shop of a car dealership, set in the heart of Des Moines’ Western Gateway, and this is where we shake up the status quo. We don’t have a standard toolbox of marketing tactics. All of our creative work and executions are custom-made to order, every time.
Our obsession with culture, our quest for big ideas, and our many creative talents serve clients big and small. We’ve won some awards for our work, which is cool, but we’re far prouder of how we've helped our clients stand out in a sea of sameness.

Co-Founder / Owner / G.I. Joe Enthusiast
Brian studied Graphic Design at DMACC. His work has not only been effective for his clients; it has earned industry praise and awards on local and national levels.
Brian has taken an active role in the community as a mentor for DMACC's graphic design program and co-founder of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) of Des Moines' student outreach program. He also co-founded the Des Moines Music Coalition (DMMC) and helped launch 80/35, Des Moines' largest annual music festival. In 2009, he co-founded Saturday Mfg. and still heads the agency.
Brian has a healthy appetite for pop culture, music and toys, but his wife, Kristi, keeps him grounded. They share an appreciation for older homes and renovation, as well as their beloved beagle, Moxie.
Designer / Sir Prancington
Nick has an associate degree in Graphic Design from DMACC. He has a knack for concepting, building out ideas, and making really excellent dad-joke puns. Nick enjoys skateboarding, going to the gym, Pokémon Go, eating Thelma's cookies, and spending time with his wife and their Instagram-famous pets.
Designer / Treat Fiend
Season studied Journalism Graphics at Ball State University. She has lived in Iowa for six years but still thinks Indiana's sweet corn is better (don't @ her). She enjoys browsing flea markets, gardening, baking, traveling, sampling ice cream, and fighting for couch space with her husband and their two cats. In other words, she and your grandma could be BFFs.
